Dr. Jeffrey Thackrey
“When we look at a patient’s hormone levels, we don’t only look at sex hormones – we also factor in other hormones, such as thyroid hormones and adrenals, to get a clearer picture of everything that’s going on beneath the surface. I also help my patients find practical solutions for other health abnormalities, such as G.I. issues, food allergies and chemical sensitivities. I think it’s important for women and men to understand that age isn’t the only factor of hormonal imbalance – environmental toxins, poor nutrition, lack of exercise and chronic stress can also have a negative impact on our hormonal health.”
Jeffrey Thackrey, M.D. originally practiced Anesthesiology and later developed an interest in integrative and functional medicine. He’s completed Residencies in both Anesthesiology and Occupational Medicine and received a Master’s in Public Health. As medical director of BodyLogicMD of Fort Lauderdale, Dr. Thackrey helps women and men struggling with hormonal imbalance and other age-related health challenges, using customized wellness programs that combine bioidentical hormone therapy with personalized nutrition and fitness regimens.
Dr. Thackrey is Board Certified by the American Board of Anti-Aging Medicine and is an active member of the Fellowship for Anti-Aging and Regenerative Medicine.
Dr. Jeffrey Thackrey, a 1979 graduate of Ohio State College of Medicine, has completed residencies in Anesthesiology (Ohio State University -1983) and in Occupational Medicine (University of Massachusetts -1998). He is Board Certified in Occupational and Environmental Medicine and has a Master’s Degree in Public Health.
