Dr. Benita Swartout
“The human body is resilient; it has the unique ability to heal itself, given the right circumstances. Integrative medicine makes it possible to address each patient’s needs on an individual basis, to help optimize the body’s natural healing process. As hormones decline, the body ceases to function optimally and loses its resiliency. With bioidentical hormone therapy, I am able to help my patients balance their hormones naturally and achieve optimal overall health.”
Benita Swartout, D.O. is the medical director of BodyLogicMD of Nashville. Originally trained in Osteopathic and Family Medicine, Dr. Swartout first became interested in integrative medicine after attending an A4M conference in 2004, where she learned about bioidentical hormones and preventive care. Dr. Swartout helps her patients overcome age-related symptoms by getting down to the root cause and treating the condition accordingly. Dr. Swartout integrates customized nutrition and fitness regimens with bioidentical hormone therapy to create a personalized wellness program, specifically designed to address each patient’s individual needs.
Dr. Swartout is a Diplomat of the American Academy for Anti-Aging Medicine and is also an active member of the Fellowship for Anti-Aging and Regenerative Medicine.
