Michel Rizo, Pharm.D., ABAAHP
Mike Rizo Pharm.D. has spent the last 10 years in the pharmacy arena and 8 of those have been in the specialization of sterile compounding preparations. Mike Rizo Pharm.D. has worked in many areas of pharmacy, ranging from retail to hospital; from home infusions to specialized oncology pharmacy. He has managed different retail pharmacies and was the team leader for the pharmacy department at the Mt. Sinai Aventura cancer center, where he worked together with 8 different oncologists in the preparation of sterile compounding of chemotherapy. He is experienced in education, as he is an adjunct lecturer of pharmacotherapeutics at Nova Southeastern University School of Pharmacy. He is also the creator and director of a Pharmacy Technician Education Program and is a preceptor for NSU Pharmacy students. He is constantly researching and has acted as mentor for poster presentations at Nova Southeastern University.
