Dr. Anita Petruzzelli

Anita Petruzzelli, M.D. was originally trained as an OB/GYN and practices integrative and functional medicine at BodyLogicMD of Hartford. Dr. Petruzzelli dedicates her practice to helping women and men achieve balance in all aspects of their lives – mind, body and spirit – using customized wellness strategies that include bioidentical hormone therapy and personalized nutrition and fitness programs, designed specifically to address the needs of each patient. Dr. Petruzzelli has always had a strong passion for fitness and nutrition began and was recognized as Ms. National Collegiate in 1987 and as Ms. Washington D.C. later in 1989
Dr.
Petruzzelli is an active member of the American Academy of Anti-Aging
Medicine and is the Fellowship for Anti-Aging and Regenerative Medicine.
Her undergraduate education was at Fairfield University and she attended medical school at George Washington University School of Medicine. She interned in general surgery at Waterbury Hospital, in Waterbury, Connecticut and completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center in Hartford, Connecticut. She has worked as an OB/GYN since 1997, most recently at the Center for Women’s Health and Midwifery as a Hospitalist.
