Dr. Ferrin is one of the few select and highly trained surgeons in the United States, performing facial and body contouring using the newest methods including water assisted lipo-suction (Body-Jet) and laser assisted body-sculpting.
He brings to South Florida more than 25 years of surgical experience, and is very well respected for his attention to detail, dedication to caring for his patients, and his efforts to provide safe, alternative methods to conventional plastic surgery.
Dr. Ferrin graduated from Louisiana State Univesity where he trained in Obstetrics and Gynecology. He went on to establish a highly successful practice dealing with infertility, minimally invasive surgical techniques and gynecologic laser surgery, including pelvic reconstruction and restoration. He belongs to the American Academy of Cosmetic Gynecologists; the American Academy of Medical Esthetic Professionals; the American Society of Laparo-endoscopic Surgeons, the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery; the American Society of Endocrinologists and the American Academy of Anti-aging and Functional Medicine.
For the past several years,Dr. Ferrin has focused his practice on antiaging and rejuvenation methods dealing with bio-identical hormones, weight management and facial and body contouring. Dr. Ferrin has traveled extensively around the world, seeking out the best plastic surgery especialists to train with and has followed extensive preceptorships and tutorials at different institutions ie: Toronto and Montreal in Canada; Madrid and Barcelona in Spain; Beverly Hills and San Francisco in California, New York and New Jersey in the Northeast, and several centers in the south, in Louisiana and Florida. His surgeries are now limited to cosmetic procedures of the face and body including fat grafting and lift.
Dr. Ferrin's efforts have been widely recognized as he now opens Miami's newest and most elegant Medical Spa, with its own surgical and treatment suites, Elite Weight Management Program, and Fitness and Wellness Center and general spa services, all under strict medical supervision.
