Duska Dyer, M.D.
“It’s difficult to prevent disease
from a reactive standpoint.
Many of the health challenges
affecting women and men today cannot be resolved by simply treating the
patient’s symptoms.
We need to take a more proactive
approach to wellness, by investigating the underlying causes of these
health challenges and factor in how lifestyle choices impact our overall
health.
Symptoms of hormonal imbalance that many
women and men face as they get older are well within the realm of
prevention.”
Dr.
Dyer received her undergraduate from the University of Belgrade, Serbia
(former Yugoslavia). She was trained in Pediatric Neurology at the same
University. In 2000 Dr. Dyer moved to United States, where she spent 3
years completing her post-doctoral fellowship at UCLA researching breast
cancer, and the role of PET scanners for earlier detection of primary
and metastatic breast cancer. She fulfilled her residency in Family
Medicine at Emory University and received her Board Certification from
the American Academy of Family Medicine. Dr. Dyer is an active member of
