“I recommend bioidentical hormone therapy to my patients because I feel that it’s a safer and more effective means of treating symptoms of menopause and andropause (the male menopause), because they function just like the hormones that the body produces naturally. In addition to balancing hormones, I think that diet and exercise are also critical components of our overall health. That’s why I think it’s so important as a medical practitioner, to help my patients balance each aspect of their overall health with customized wellness programs that address each facet of their overall well being.”
Rebecca Crowley-Huey, PA-C was originally trained as a Physician Assistant and transitioned into integrative and regenerative medicine after the Women’s Health Initiative, to offer women natural alternative to traditional forms of HRT. Rebecca now practices functional medicine at BodyLogicMD of The Woodlands, helping women and men balance hormones naturally, using a combination of bioidentical hormone therapy and personalized nutrition, fitness and stress reduction regimens. By treating the body as a whole, Rebecca helps her patients achieve balance in each aspect of their lives.
Rebecca is Board Certified by the American Board of Anti-Aging Medicine and is a Diplomat of the Fellowship for Anti-Aging and Regenerative Medicine.
